My First Post ♡

It seems pretty unusual typing on my laptop and it not being for one of my modules in University. I promise I am not complaining in the slighteeeeest. Merely acknowledging the fact that Im going to be able to write for fun without it actually being graded.

Well hello and welcome to anyone out there who may be reading this!

Ive always wanted to start a blog and I even paid to join the Blogging society in Uni to try and motivate myself. Did I start though? – Of course not, but maybe this time I will try and keep it up (which is extremely doubtful).

My name is Mara and Im 19 years young. I live on a place called the Wirral, which is to anyone down South – basically Liverpool. I absolutely adore where I live and just to show it off a little bit more, Right-move scored it as the ‘3rd happiest place to live in the UK’ which I personally think is pretty impressive.

I can’t say I don’t agree with this statement. My house is literally just a few yards from the beaches of New Brighton and overlooks the incredible Liverpool skyline. Just 10 minutes down the promenade you’ll find the vintage arcades, where your classic ‘fish and chip’ shops are located. Carry on walking and you’ll hit ‘Marine point’ which is filled with restaurants, coffee/ice creams stores and even a cinema. Its honestly the perfect day out.

Last week on Thursday, I actually visited the Marine Street Social – rooftop garden where my theme for my blog was actually inspired from. They had an extremely GORGEOUS flower wall created by @bloomroomflowers which I couldn’t resist taking a photo by.

P.S – I cant express how much I love the colour contrast between my top and the green backdrop. TOOOOO pretty!!

The girls and I grabbed a quick Frozen yoghurt from the Yog Time and sat admiring the view from above. Nothing has beaten the weather recently in the UK and its making me way too excited to go on holiday. But Its getting to the point where maybe being away might be slightly cooler than home? HOW!!

I dont really know how to round this off but thanks for reading and I look forward to writing more content for you all:) x
